Lisa IV Massage

This massage parlor is the most wonderful place. We've been to many massage parlors in Thailand, but this one was the absolute best. My mom and I were absolutely thrilled with everything. We had a massage with a man, and he's our favorite. It was nice chatting with him, and the massage itself was great. It's been a while since we left, but we really miss it and really want to go back.

I was simply assisting because the guest was staying in the same building as our massage shop, and had previously booked through Booking.com / Agoda at a promotional rate of 300 THB per night.When you requested to extend your stay for 2 more nights, I explained the standard policy: 500 THB per night for cash payment, or 300 THB per night if booking through the app again, to be fair to all guests.Out of consideration, I contacted Ms. Lisa, the owner of the guesthouse, and requested a special rate of 300 THB per night for you. She kindly approved it.Later, you requested another extension and informed me that you had just had an accident—your foot hit a rock while walking on the beach and you got scared by a jellyfish, resulting in a wound on your leg. I explained the same policy as before in accordance with the guesthouse rules. At that point the conversation became heated, and I was spoken to impolitely first. I still tried to remain polite and called Ms. Lisa several times. Once I was able to reach her and she approved the original rate, you were satisfied with the arrangement. During your stay, there were repeated complaints from other guests and staff about strong odors and disturbances coming from the room late at night, which violated the guesthouse’s house rules. When I explained the same policy as before, the conversation became heated. Our massage shop has a clear price list displayed, and we always inform every guest of the prices before starting any service.On that night you came in close to 11 PM and requested a 300 THB Thai massage. However, I noticed your shoulders and back were quite tense, which according to our standard would require a Back & Shoulder Massage for 500 THB. I suggested an alternative: adding only 100 THB more for a 400 THB Thai Oil Massage, and I included a complimentary Vitamin Scrub and Face Scrub to ensure you received the best care possible. After the session you expressed satisfaction and said the massage was good.Thai people are naturally hospitable and always willing to help visitors, especially when we know someone has been injured. I visited Lisa IV salon after snorkeling, after my back was burned. I chose a 90 minute oil massage from a young man. It was a good decision, I also got a cooling cream on my back. I had one of the best, professional massages of my visit to Thailand (I also do massage). I would come back anytime!

I’m staying at Lucky Guesthouse, which is in the same building as the massage center. The girls are all very kind. But be careful with the man. This morning I wanted to extend my stay by 2 nights. I couldn’t find the girl who handles bookings at the reception, so I asked him. It turned into a really absurd conversation. He asked me for more money than what the owner had told me the day before. Then he started raising his voice and asked, “Are you concentrating? Do you understand English? Do you understand what I’m saying?” I replied, “Yes, of course I understand. I’m not stupid.” And he looked at me and said, “Yes, you are stupid.” I was completely shocked. Since the phone number for the owner on Google Maps doesn’t work, I asked him if he had another number to contact her. He shouted at me again and said NO. Luckily, I remembered there was a sign on the street with a phone number. I went out, called it, and finally managed to speak with the owner. A really rude man. But also, how do you think it’s acceptable to come up to a woman, shout in her face, and act aggressively like that? Also, on the first night I stayed here, I chose a 300 baht Thai massage. He refused and pushed me to take the 400 baht one instead, saying the Thai massage was “too much” for me. He had never seen me before. I’ve been traveling around Thailand for 2 years and getting Thai massages regularly 😂 Now I understand his strategy: he tries to get extra money wherever possible. Very rude. Be careful, especially if you are a woman traveling alone.

Based on the positive reviews, I decided to visit Lisa IV. I should mention that I've been traveling to Thailand for almost 40 years and have enjoyed numerous massages during that time. …

This has to be the best massage place in the area, I was really satisfied when i go there for massage, and I been there many time more already. Very professional and friendly staff. Can recommend the Hammer massage. New shop and clean. Lisa is the best massagelady I ever had. Can really recommend this place. Located near supercheap shop in Karon Beach. Next to Lucky Guesthouse. Give it a Visit. You will not regret.
