The atmosphere is so nice and peaceful. The spa smells wonderful and is very relaxing. The masseuses are very skilled. It's worth the price. The service is great. This has become my regular massage place. If I could give 10 stars, I'd give 1000! 🙏 …

I came for a massage on Saturday, the 21st, at 11 am. It was a 3-hour massage. I've been here many times before. The reception staff are lovely and the masseuses are skilled, but this was the first time I encountered a masseuse who was really not good. It was like she just applied oil and massaged haphazardly, the pressure was off. Basic points that masseuses usually emphasize, like the neck and shoulders, other masseuses spend a long time on, but this one just applied oil, squeezed a couple of times and was done. It was really not a muscle relaxation massage at all. The standard has dropped significantly. The value for money for the massage service was terrible.

My whole body is aching. I chose a Thai massage because I didn't want an oil massage. I understand that Thai massage involves stretching and pressure. Usually, when I get massages at various places, I always say that I don't want anything too intense, just relaxation and light massage. (Because if it were too intense or I had a problem and wanted treatment, I would have gone to the clinic next door, or I would have told them I wanted treatment or pain relief, but I'm fine, I just wanted a light, relaxing massage.) Upon arrival, the masseuse's welcome wasn't the same for everyone. Some were welcoming and explained things well, while others just pointed and told me what to do. Once the massage started, it turned out to be very heavy-handed (but that's not wrong; each masseuse has different levels of pressure and experience). I tried to endure it and let the masseuse do her thing, but eventually I cried out and it really hurt in several spots. I told her I wanted it lighter, that I felt pain, and that I didn't want to waste money going home sore and in pain, or enduring the whole hour of suffering. The first thing she said in response was, "Thai massage is inherently painful, why didn't you get an oil massage?" And she continued to press with the same force, which caused continuous pain. Then, at another spot, I cried out again, indicating that it hurt, but she didn't stop. So I put my hand on her thigh and told her to stop there, that it was really painful. She stopped and moved on to another spot. The massage continued in other areas, and I still felt pain and no relaxation at all. So, I contacted the staff via chat and asked if I could reduce the time from an hour and a half to an hour. I didn't want to regret spending more money and wouldn't have to lie there anxiously wondering if it would hurt or if the time would run out. The staff informed me that the appointment was already scheduled and they couldn't reduce the time. I said that was fine, and wouldn't change anything. After that, I was surprised that I asked for a shorter time but didn't speak to the masseuse. I felt I had spoken to her, but perhaps I was the one who couldn't tolerate the pain, so I didn't want to talk to her anymore. Initially, she sounded annoyed that I was coming for a Thai massage because I kept complaining about the pain without stopping or easing up. After that, the massage became lighter, and I was able to periodically ask about the pressure level, which was enough to get through it. I want to say that I understand the masseuse's knowledge and skills, but I wish spas and massage parlors would be more attentive to their customers. Not everyone comes for relaxation or to relieve tension. People aren't in pain, but they're told they have tense muscles. In this day and age, we don't sit around making garlands, doing housework, or exercising all the time. Take the client's needs into account. If they say they don't want it too strong, or don't want it too intense, then that's fine. There's no need to try too hard to treat them. If it's too light, the client can say they want it stronger, or ask if they'd like it stronger. You should listen to the client. If someone wants a stronger treatment or specific ailment, then you can go ahead and give them a stronger treatment. Personally, I'm not someone who's never had a massage before; I get them often. The locations vary depending on where I'm available and where I find a massage place. I'm not someone who's never had Thai massage, foot massage, or oil massage. But each place can provide good care and cater to the client's needs. Especially if the client is in pain and speaks up, they usually adjust accordingly and don't show any signs of annoyance.

My experience this time was terrible. The female staff downstairs were talking very loudly for almost an hour, followed by a male doctor who was also talking loudly, as if there was a religious ceremony. There was a complete lack of professionalism in this spa. I wanted my money back for two hours of massage; I couldn't sleep at all because of the noise. If you don't intend to provide good service, just close the shop. You can't be moving things around, rearranging the shop, or dragging cabinets like this. Why don't you do this when there are no customers? It's disgusting. Then, in the last 10 minutes, a customer came up, and the staff who came up earlier were shouting loudly as if there were no customers in the shop at all. It was like being in a street market. It was incredibly irritating.

I didn't go to a spa, but went to see a doctor at Garden Clinic. He's a traditional Thai medicine doctor who graduated in this field and has real knowledge in treatment. He can prescribe herbal medicines that are specific to the disease. Taking the medicine really works. In addition to herbal medicine, there's also massage therapy. He can treat muscle and tendon symptoms directly and effectively. Importantly, the doctor has strong medical ethics. He doesn't prescribe more medicine than necessary. He also doesn't prescribe it if the patient is fine after examining. For those with health problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, aches and pains, or insomnia, you can consult the doctor. Make an appointment first so that you have enough time to receive full treatment.
