As always, from the moment we arrived, every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. All the teams, from the pool to Bamboo bar, the level of service is truly world-class. Every meal was exquisite. The rooms are elegant, impeccably maintained, and incredibly comfortable. A special mention must go to the pillows—they were simply the most comfortable I've ever slept on and made every night's sleep absolutely perfect. I can't wait for my next stay.

It was a pleasure to return to Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok once again. This stay reminded me why it continues to be my favorite hotel in the city. The newly renovated Chao Phraya Suite feels fresh, elegant, and more vibrant while still preserving the timeless charm that makes the hotel so special. The Oriental Spa remains one of the finest hotel spas I have ever experienced, and dinner at Baan Phraya was truly outstanding. Both the cuisine and the overall dining experience exceeded my expectations. Even with the increasing number of luxury hotels in Bangkok and the upcoming openings of new properties nearby, I still believe that MO Bangkok holds a unique position that cannot easily be replaced. Its heritage, service culture, and sense of place are simply exceptional. It remains my number one hotel in Bangkok, and I am certain that I will return again.

The Living Legend of Bangkok Hospitality We recently revisited the iconic “Oriental,” a property legendary for setting the gold standard of luxury hospitality along the Chao Phraya River for exactly 150 years. Staying here is a destination in itself. Every moment is seamlessly curated—from the warm scent of the jasmine garland greeting at arrival to the personal butler bidding us farewell at checkout. One can easily spend days simply soaking in the heritage: wandering through the historical arcade featuring the Jim Thompson Thai silk shop, reading on a private balcony while watching the timeless river traffic, and concluding the evening with a flawless cocktail at The Bamboo Bar. What truly elevates this property, however, is its people. Many of the staff members have dedicated their entire careers to the hotel—some even extending their service well beyond retirement. Their genuine pride and meticulous attention to detail are palpable in every interaction. We look forward to returning in the near future, whether for another memorable stay or simply to drop by for their quintessential afternoon tea.

This hotel is one of the best I have every stayed at. The service is magnificent, the staff are all so kind and attentive, nothing could have made it better. The hotel is gorgeous, it is well located, and has its own boat shuttle to cross the river. The restaurants are incredible. Our stay here was amazing, it is worth everything you pay, hope we can come back soon!

I still feel genuinely happy every time I return to MOBKK. Everything remains just as wonderful as I remember, and I’m truly touched that everyone still remembers me even though I had not stayed here for quite some time. Even some of the new staff were able to greet me by name, which really reflects how strong and consistent the guest care training here continues to be. I apologize if I cannot remember every staff member’s name individually, but I would sincerely like to thank everyone — especially Khun Mayuree, who has taken such wonderful care of me for more than ten years. I would also like to thank the porters, the valet team, front office staff, concierge team, the spa staff, and especially Khun Pop, who has always been my therapist over the years. My thanks also go to the staff at every outlet where I dined, including China House, Ciao, Anne-Sophie, Verandah, and Authors’ Lounge. I would especially like to thank Khun Wanida and the staff member who still remembered what my mother likes, even though she was not with me on the day I came for afternoon tea, and even thoughtfully prepared something for her as well. I would also like to thank the staff at the pier and all of the butlers. No matter where I travel or stay, whenever I return to MOBKK, I always feel a kind of happiness that is truly unlike anywhere else.

When I decided to visit Bangkok, I chose the Mandarin Oriental without a second thought, drawn by its rich history and consistently excellent service. Once I got hooked to the Mandarin Oriental, I always choose it whenever I travel to another country. To celebrate its 150th anniversary, the hotel was adorned with beautifully curated details and displays highlighting its history. The service was flawless as always, and I had a wonderful time during my stay. The little gestures and gifts I received throughout my stay made me happy. I tried a different restaurant every day I was there(Terrace rim Naam, the Verandah, Sala Rim Naam) and each one was incredibly delicious. Enjoying Thai cuisine while watching the traditional performance at Sala Rim Naam was a wonderful experience. I’ll be happy to choose the Mandarin Oriental again on my next visit to Bangkok.
