Sawasdee Thai Massage

I've been to countless massage parlors, big and small, in Bangkok. Most neighborhood massage parlors, those near my home, have similar prices. Thai massages generally cost 250 or 300 baht per hour, that's about the price range. However, the masseuses are mostly older, over 40; there are very few young ones, let alone beautiful ones. This is because these are legitimate Thai massage parlors. I like this particular massage parlor because it's very clean. They use new sheets and pillowcases for every customer, changing them on the spot. The main Thai massage area is on the 3rd floor; the 1st floor is for foot massages. Some people also like to chat while getting a Thai massage. After a while, it feels like family. I go there every week to see the thin owner and the other ladies.

They hurt my back while giving me a massage at this massage parlor. My back started hurting right after the massage and has been hurting for several days now. The massage was given by a skinny woman who pressed really hard on my spine, which is dangerous. I don't recommend this massage parlor.

I was early for an appointment and stumbled across Sawasdee Thai Massage. I did an hour foot massage and it was fantastic. The therapist released the tight knots that I didn't know existed. As I was in a dress, they gave me a pair of trousers and a sarong to cover myself. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

I have never experienced such a terrible massage anywhere before. They just pressed my back in circles. They had no skills at all. They massaged my body and kept pressing on the same spot on my back and refused to go anywhere else. I couldn't stand it anymore and had to stop because it was a waste of time. I felt annoyed and hurt. I dug my toes into my mouth until it hurt so much. I had to hold myself together, thinking they would probably change positions. After 15 minutes, they still didn't change. I finally said that was enough. They didn't ask or apologize and charged me the full hourly rate. I complained to the owner, but he didn't seem interested. My friend used to say that this shop gave bad massages, but I thought I might have accidentally met a bad masseuse. But I confirm that it's true. It's like they didn't study massage. The shop's atmosphere is not good. There's a smell and they talk loudly.
