Today I went for a massage because someone recommended it, saying it was excellent. I went to see her and I have to say I was so happy to meet this petite Thai lady. Based on the overwhelmingly positive 5-star reviews, I decided to take my mother here with high expectations. However, the results were the complete opposite of the reviews. The masseuse lacked any real massage skill. Her squeezing, kneading, and pressing were haphazard. Based on over 20 years of massage experience, honestly, she didn't even have the basics. Addressing her symptoms was out of the question. During the massage, she even said, "I won't put too much pressure, it'll bruise." Which is understandable, but the result was that all the symptoms remained the same, or even worse. The worst part was, after the massage, she said, "Come back for another massage tomorrow." Seriously... what kind of massage school teaches clients to give advice like that? In short, I wasted my time, my feelings were ruined, and her symptoms didn't improve at all. Trusting reviews too much can really ruin your life.
I found this place through Google reviews because it's near my house. It's a small massage shop with only two beds and one therapist, the owner. There's no music or scented candles, but if you're really looking for a massage, I highly recommend it. The massage is very deep tissue, and you can tell the owner how much pressure you want, and she'll adjust it to your preference. She's very friendly. It's one of the best massage shops I've ever been to. I'll definitely be back.
I've been to many massage parlors, but this one has a female masseuse who hits the deep tissues the best.
