Aochalong Villa Resort and spa

Superb location. The Sea Time Cafe & pool.look out onto Chalong Bay. The resort is several hundred meters back from the main road so it is peaceful. The resort is in a tropical setting with two decent sized & well maintained pools. The staff are excellent & friendly. The happy hour at the Sea Time Cafe from 4 pm to 7 pm make it great value (2 for the price of one). My only criticism is the bathroom needs a bit of maintenance needs a new shower head holder, the towel rail is not secured properly & the shower water does not drain properly (insufficient gradient) Other rooms may not suffer these problems. Overall very happy.

Very convenient location, and beachfront hotel. 2 big amazing pools and a restaurant. Nice ocean and mountains view from the room at the pool in the 3rd floor. Was not very convenient to have electric sockets on one side of the bed and a night table at the other but we managed it by building own. Overall enough of charging sport in the room. The bathroom quite small, and the shower curtain always sticks, but it was not much of a problem. It’s a very beautiful and relaxing place to rest. /Apr’26/

A beautiful hotel. The breakfast is superb, staff are kind, and pools great. The only drawback is the location. Whilst the view over the bay is marvellous, the hotel is at the end of a long drive, and is a taxi journey away from all attractions.

I stayed here with a group for my birthday. If you want a quiet location, this is nice. You will be dependent on grab to go anywhere. The hotel room was nice however the mattress was super hard and my quality of sleep was poor. If the mattresses were improved, I would stay again. If not, I would stay elsewhere.

A lovely place, couldn’t fault anything, had a beautiful pool room. All staff are very accommodating and helpful, grounds are stunning and well maintained, food was scrumptious. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for 10 nights. We only used the hotel to sleep. The staff were lovely could not fault them at all. Breakfast was included but it was not worth getting up for. The choices were not enough. The bread was hard. Croissants were hard. …

Pretty nice place. We stayed for only 1 night if we know this place would be so nice like this we would stay 3 days. Room are small but enough for 2 person. Bathroom is a bit dirty but for me is fine. They have 2 pool that's my favourite.We paid over 1000bhat for 1 night which is super worth. Will be come back when we get vacation day again. Thanks alot

A lovely, smaller hotel with a really nice, authentic vibe. Staff are wonderful and very attentive. Rooms could do with a better clean though as mould in the grout in shower area was quite excessive and floors always seemed to be dirty in the room. It has a very small beach it shares with a local neighbourhood behind but this does virtually disappear at high tide. Overall very fairly priced and a nice place to stay would come again

Nice pools x2. Good food. Reasonably priced. Right on the water and overlooks many yachts on moorings. Phuket Yacht Club (guests welcome) is right next door for alternative restaurant choice. I had minor issues with A/C and a few mosquitoes but, hey, we're in the tropics...

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Away from the craziness, really calm and peaceful. The hotel feels like a family run hotel, with care. Time stands still here, allowing you to unwind and relax. The view from the delicious breakfast is dreamlike. Would definitely recommend.
