Alaita Boutique Phuket

Let’s be honest—this is not a 5-star hotel. It’s a fancy, modern 3-star, or a 4-star at best. The staff is sweet, and the rooms are beautiful with comfortable beds and nice features. The common areas and pool are great. The hotel is not crowded, which is a big plus, as there are only 20 units. As many other reviews mention, the limited reception hours are a challenge—the front desk closes at 6 p.m. Additionally, the food and drink selection is very limited, so you really need a bike or car to get anything else. There are also only a few employees working across different areas, so sometimes you find yourself wandering around trying to locate a staff member.

Excellent! Everything was perfect.. the hotel is just beautiful, the rooms are very spacious, with a little kitchenette with kettle, fridge and sink. Bed was huge and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. Thanks for everything, We are definitely coming back!

Great experience staying in Alaita Boutique Hotel. If you want to avoid the crowds, and massive tourism areas this the place to be. In a relaxing area and at the same time close to amazing beaches and the pier that can take you to the islands. The hotel was super clean and modern we had breakfast at the hotel once and it was deliscious. A big thank you to all the staff were all super kind and made this experience so good. A special thanks to Pom who was always available to help and support. She went beyond her tasks, she recommended us amazing quite beaches, places to eat and even had us a contact of a person who dis us a private tour (also super recommend). That being said, I could recommend more Alaita Boutique Hotel and if I return one day to Phuket, I will definitely stay here again.

5.o to this place, if I can do more I would.. Amazing stuff, service, atmosphere, pool, massage service, and especially local vibes. No touris overload, the sweetest and nicest local people and mangrove accessible restaurants across the street... please go and don't hesitate. I really loved my stay at Alaita hotel. The place is beautiful, modern, and very clean, and it immediately felt welcoming and comfortable. What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the staff — especially Pom. She was outstanding: incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. It was a great experience overall, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Phuket. 😊

Very spacious rooms. All amenities are available in the room itself, from mini fridge to oven. The pool is also quite good. At a peaceful location. We booked online so we could pay through card, however there is a “cash only” sign at the reception.

Wonderful Stay at a Beautiful Hotel This is a perfect place! Very cozy, peaceful, and beautifully decorated – everything is brand new. The cleaning service is top-notch. We stayed in the poolside apartments during the rainy season, so there were not many people around. It felt like the entire hotel, with its luxurious room and pool, was exclusively ours. A special thank you to the entire hotel staff, and especially to the manager, Suwannee. They made our stay even more enjoyable. Also, the massage service here is the best we found during our month-long stay in Phuket. I highly recommend it – they are open all day until evening. Additionally, there is a fantastic seafood restaurant just a 5-minute walk away by the river, definitely worth visiting. We rented a car, and the hotel has parking spaces available. The location is also great for exploring Phuket. Thank you again, and I wish you all continued success and prosperity!

We traveled as a family and found everything we needed for a perfect holiday. The swimming pool is large, clean, and great for both kids and adults. We spent hours there each day! The spa and massage services were also outstanding—professional therapists, a calming ambiance, and truly rejuvenating treatments. A must-try if you’re visiting!

This  hotel was an absolute letdown, I am from Europe, and I would never recommend it to anyone. Here’s why: 1. Unbearable Noise Levels The rooms are right next to a busy main road, and the constant motorbike noise makes it impossible to relax. 2. Limited Staff Availability The hotel’s reception operates only from 9 AM to 6 PM. After that, good luck finding anyone to help you if there’s an issue. For a so-called “5-star” hotel, this is completely unacceptable. 3. Ridiculous Customer Service I had specifically requested a twin bed room for myself and a travel partner. While I understand that it’s the peak season and only a single bed room was available, what’s unforgivable is the response when I asked for an extra blanket. The staff initially refused and only gave in after I pressed further—but then handed me a used blanket that smelled awful. 4. Multi-Tasking Staff = Poor Hygiene There seem to be only five workers in this entire hotel, each juggling multiple roles: receptionist, cleaner, massage therapist, and cook. I saw the same person clean a room and then head straight to the kitchen to prepare food without washing their hands. It’s unsanitary and downright disgusting. 5. Terrible Bathroom Facilities The shower water is consistently cold and fluctuates in pressure. After a long day at the beach, I was looking forward to a warm shower, but that was clearly too much to expect here. 6. Service Disparity While I personally received decent service, I noticed a concerning attitude among the staff towards other guests. It was obvious that some were being treated better than others, despite paying the same rates. Everyone deserves equal respect and quality service regardless of where they come from. This hotel is nowhere near “5-star” quality. It’s overpriced, unhygienic, and poorly managed. Spend your money elsewhere—you deserve better.
