A massage on Kamala Beach is a whole other story. It's like being there after a long, active day. You watch the sunset against the backdrop of the Andaman Sea, hear the soft sound of the surf, the birds singing, the scent of southern pine trees, and all the while, you're getting a massage—and the massage isn't the main thing. It's all about the ambiance and atmosphere. I simply drift off from this combination of joys.

There are many salons like this on Kamala, but I liked the special warmth of the massage therapists.
