I can only say one thing: it's awful.

The massage was good.

I contacted the owner, Kat, to book a massage and specified a time. She agreed and arranged the time. I assumed the owner would be doing the massages herself. It was my first time, and I didn't know how many masseuses were in the shop. However, upon arrival, the owner had gone out before I arrived. Other masseuses said the owner had just left to take her child to tutoring, but when I asked Kat, she said she was going to her child's orientation. Kat seemed lovely and spoke well, but this experience felt like I was being deceived. Two other masseuses in the shop couldn't perform therapeutic massages; they could only do relaxation massages. Since it was my first time, how was I supposed to know which masseuse had the skills for therapeutic or relaxation massages? The owner should have told me this from the start, but she didn't. It was a wasted trip. One of the masseuses said I had to book with the owner, Kat, only. She knew it was my first time, so I didn't know how many masseuses there were or their skills. I drove a long distance. The owner should have clearly informed me from the beginning. If Kat had said in advance that therapeutic massages were only available from her and that the other masseuses couldn't, and that she had gone out at my scheduled time, I wouldn't have driven all the way there and wouldn't have made an appointment in the first place. I came for a massage, but it felt like the staff intentionally didn't inform me and then abandoned the customer.

The masseuse was excellent; she massaged the exact spots I was having problems with. I highly recommend this shop!
