Shanghai Mansion Bangkok

Love this hotel. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Bangkok chinatown. Sub way is like 6 to 7 minutes walk. The decor in room is beautiful .Breakfast is basic ,used to be better last year. Service and support from frontline staffs is good.

It was a delightful interlude right on the edge of Chinatown! A charming boutique hotel with a room that was exactly as pictured on the website. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. (They even gave me change for the taxi when we arrived!) Perhaps the only slight drawback was a faint smell of urine coming from the bathroom during the night. But apart from that, everything was perfect, and the hotel is ideally located if you want to immerse yourself in the vibrant life of Chinatown, with small concerts every evening at the hotel entrance! Will I return? If I come back to Bangkok, without hesitation!

Such a lovely place (comfy rooms, quiet in the middle of vibrant Chinatown, great Chinese design and decoration) - and such lovely people work there! From the check-in staff to the room cleaners (great job, Trend!) to the lady who makes the eggs at the breakfast buffet. All are so helpful and welcoming. I’ve been here 3 times and it really feels like my BKK homebase. I recommend it highly and will be back!

This was a terrific punt I did. Wanting to stay at Chinatown walking to mrt I dug this hotel which looked like old style Indian Chinese houses. Was a great experience. The staff are exemplary. They are happy to give extra bottle of water which is rare in Bkk. The shower gels n shampoo are very rich in coconut and you literally feel like bathing with coconut milk. The breakfast is terrific. With range of local dishes each well made and western stuff and some vegetarian stuff too. Staff are very helpful, guiding me to the best local cheap Tom yum places too. They have a happenning bar with live music which comes alive every night. The bfast I had was excellent… Pumpkin soup Basil chicken spaghetti Mince basil pork curry Pineapple fried rice Spicy Basa fish Chinese style Spicy glass noodles Phad Thai Stir fry beef curry Jasmine rice Dimsums range.. And western stuff offcourse Fresh juices Lovely stay strongly recommended

Shanghai Mansion Bangkok A fair‑dinkum ripper of a stay in Chinatown. We had a great stay at Shanghai Mansion. The vintage‑Shanghai theme is dialled in and a vibe that’s spot on— rich colours, moody atmosphere, and rhythm and style that matters. The rooms were comfy, the location’s a beauty, and the whole place rolls along with an easy flow that hits the spot. The team were solid across the board, and I want to give a shout to Trend, our room attendant — switched on friendly and has your best interests at heart, friendly vibe throughout the stay. Well done Trend, you’re an asset to the business. Shanghai Mansion’s a top pick if you want comfort, character, and a team that’s bang on. We’d happily check in and chill again. A wonderful experience at Shanghai Mansion, but what I'll remember most is the people. The hotel itself is beautiful, full of character, and a pleasure to stay in. What truly made it exceptional, though, was the kindness and generosity of the staff. Every interaction felt genuine. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. A heartfelt thank you to One, Joy, Pock, AChi, Rit, Korn, Nok, and M. Your warmth, professionalism, and willingness to help made a real difference. It's rare to find a team that creates such a welcoming atmosphere, and you should all be very proud of what you've created together. Thank you for your care and hospitality. We loved our stay at Shanghai Mansion in Bangkok. The hotel is right in the heart of Chinatown, with many tourists passing by for the perfect Instagram shot of the lights of the district. The hotel is super cool in design. Really unique and feels cosy. Some of the rooms have a little outer sitting area which is great for their complimentary high tea in the afternoon. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were super kind and helpful. There is live music every night and excellent cocktails. I felt like we had found a real gem in Bangkok and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, the atmosphere was great, and the staff was very friendly. A special thanks to Khun Bzeen for the outstanding hospitality and kind support throughout our stay. Their warm attitude and professionalism made our experience even more memorable. Highly recommended, and we would love to stay here again!

My favorite stay in Bangkok by far. Excellent location right on yaowrat road next to the markets, within walking distance from most of the areas we wanted to explore. The beds were extremely comfortable , there was live music at night , and the vibe was amazing. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Will be returning in the future
