Tong-Ta Thai-Foot/Body Massage

I walked in by chance and received a massage from a female masseuse. The moment her hands touched me, I knew she would be good, and sure enough, it was incredibly refreshing. No matter where you go in Thailand, the quality is usually above average, but this place is in my top 3. If you think that a good massage is all that matters, give this place a visit.

Awful! Dirty and just plain awful.

I had a one-hour foot massage before dinner. I went to a shop on the main street, but it was full, so I was directed here. The atmosphere was a bit suspicious and the shop was dimly lit, so I hesitated a little, but they gave me a thorough one-hour massage, and it felt great. I came with my mother, and she slept soundly through the session.

I went in because it was open until 4am, cheaper than other places, and most of the masseuses were young, non-Thai males, but I ended up with a Thai woman. I was asked if I wanted to change clothes, and when I said yes, they just gave me shorts. The interior of the very small shop was very DIY, which was refreshing. I was impressed that they had decided to open a massage parlor here. It might have been since Khaosan around 2006 that I had had a massage in an environment like this. At first, I couldn't help but grin from the nostalgia and humor. The massage was very skilled, but he was also instructing the male masseuse next to him, so his hands stopped moving several times. However, even after just an hour of massage, I was so satisfied that I blacked out.

The massage itself was okay, but I’m never going back.The place was disgusting — there were roaches crawling on the floor.No matter what I said to the therapist, she just kept giggling, and then laughing with the other staff. It was honestly creepy.

The masseuse was very attentive, but seemed to be cutting corners. At 200 for one hour and 350 for two hours, there wasn't much to complain about. There were quite a few customers; it's near a night market, and it felt like the later it got, the more crowded it became.

A Thai massage with excellent value for money, only 350 baht for 2 hours. Pros: The masseuse has good technique and sufficient pressure, and the massage lasts a full time. Cons: The decor is nothing special, and the environment is average.
