Chaichana Massage, Bangkok

⚠️ Warning to other travelers I’m extremely disappointed with my experience today. As a frequent visitor to Thailand, I’ve always respected the local massage culture and supported many massage shops here. However, what happened today was completely unacceptable and unfair to foreign customers like us. I booked a 90-minute massage for 750 THB and paid in full, genuinely looking forward to a relaxing experience. Unfortunately, the male therapist was very careless and unprofessional. The air conditioner was extremely cold, yet he didn’t bother to cover me with a towel or blanket. He checked his phone, went to the restroom twice, and ended the session about 30 minutes early. Even worse, during the massage, he made some inappropriate suggestions, which I firmly declined. After that, his attitude completely changed — he lost all interest in working seriously and rushed through the rest of the massage, eventually asking me to leave after only about one hour. This behavior was highly unprofessional and unacceptable. There was no head massage, no technique, and no sense of care just a careless attitude throughout. When I reported this to the front desk, they simply said he was a “new staff,” but that doesn’t justify such behavior. No apology, no accountability, and no respect. I came here because of the good reviews, but after this experience, I truly question how genuine those reviews are. This kind of dishonesty and lack of professionalism is not the Thai hospitality we know and love. I will definitely share my full story on my channel so that more travelers can be aware and avoid the same disappointment.

I had very good experience with the massages here, no frills and affordable unlike major names out there, very humble shop. I did most of their recommended massages over the course of a few days while I was there and their skills did not disappoint, always leaving me feeling light and floating on clouds as if unblocking knots or acupoints which you can definitely feel the overall improvement in blood circulation. The boss is friendly and he made the entire experience for me and my friends felt like home, really glad to have stumbled upon this name by chance and will definitely be back for massages again in the future.

I had a great experience at Chaichana Massage. The place is very clean, relaxing, and professionally organized. The massage was super good – strong, precise, and exactly what I needed after traveling. The staff were friendly and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. You can really tell they know what they’re doing. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and looking for a quality Thai massage. I will definitely come back!

The place is easy to find. The price is reasonable. I’ve enjoyed the foot & Thai message especially with the masseur Dono, as he had a good strength and techniques to really relax my muscles. Would love to visit it again next time.

Had the most wonderful foot massage and foot scrub tonight by one of your masseuse. She is from Laos but sadly I didn’t ask her name. Best massage I have ever had. I will always come back!

At first, My Taiwan friend was very interested for the services that shown on Gowabi. And he's want me to book for him. But the response on Line was truly disappointed. Read but not respond back that we don't know why (And reply like a bot). So, he's decided to walk through the shop that have some staff outside with no any interactions. He's said "if they have the people there. It's okay to respond late or tell you that not available on that time. but they're chose to ignored you. And it's not okay" So then he's got someplace and made him happier. Not recommended about the service start with the booking process.

Nice and comfortable massage. Generously use of oil. The style is long stroke and soft strength. Good for night time before bed.

As a massage shop owner in Hungary I can say, this is the place where we got one of the best massage in Bangkok if not the best! SS and Min were the 2 masseuse we choose and we got what we asked for a very reasonable price! SS is chatty and told he learns in massage for 3 years in Temple… definitely worth it! His technique is just exceptional, strong and very well experienced! I would suggest to anyone who seeks for real massage! Min is also the same. Super polite, very well experienced and super kind. We will definitely come back on our next trip in Bangkok and we can only suggest to everyone to come here to have a great experience in ancient techniques and support these guys by booking this parlor full!! Great service. Especially, Mr. Ya, who is a strong, handsome and humour masseur, gave me a wonderful experience in massage process, make me feel good both physical and mental way. I’d like to recommend everyone who came to Bangkok to this shop. The service deserves this price.

Had a massage here with Tono. Massage was good and professional however masseur's English was limited. As with other places, do negotiate and agree on the tips before engaging in any services.
