All Chaiapond, there are I think 3 different places in the Inthamra area, does give a very unprofessional impression. I went to all 3 and left at the door.

The massage is great and really affordable, starting at 180 baht. The masseuses are friendly and easy to talk to. You can tell them where you want a light or strong pressure, and where it hurts. Or you can just come for a light massage to relax and sleep soundly.

Absolutely terrible. There are 2 shops with the same banner in 10m from each other so I assume they both have the same owner. Apologies if not. Both of them just use teenage girls from Myanmar for cheap work and they don't speak any English or Thai. Basically not a single word. I gave them several tries hoping it gets better. But last time I had the most terrible massage and I won't return there. It should be an oil massage for an hour. Masseuse was just pressing 1 point for 5-10 mins then switching to a different point. At some point I was ready to stand up and quit because it was super unpleasant. It's like a broken robot mechanically pressing the same spot endlessly. She did my back almost all the time, then just a little bit of legs then just told me to sit up and after 2 minutes of stretching the massage was over. Completely skipped the entire front side and did the back side improperly. Then just ran away from the room. I was trying to ask if I could go to the shower but nobody cared. I started shouting to attract attention. I hear how they talk with each other, I hear their voices but everyone pretends they don't hear me while I'm yelling with all my lungs. Luckily the older lady finally came and let me have a shower. She at least could understand Thai which is already a win. In the place next to it nobody understood even Thai. I had to name all the languages I know hoping they would hint me how to communicate with them. I failed. Last time when I asked if they had a shower all the personnel started crouching under my bed helping me find a shower there apparently. And I was unable to stop them, they not only ignored any language but also didn't even understand gestures. Absolutely insane level of absurdity.

I had a Thai massage from a male masseur, and it was the worst massage of my life. I really felt like I wasted my money, even though I left halfway through. He had absolutely no effort and no strength. When I asked him to massage harder in the middle, he just went through the motions and went back to rubbing. In less than 20 minutes, I just said I would pay half the fee and stop. I don't know if you get what you pay for, or if it was just this masseur. It looks like they have tons of branches, but they were all terrible. His massage skills are good enough to be called trash. It made me wonder if this is really Thailand, the home of Thai massage.

I recommend choosing an older masseuse with a lot of experience; their massage is very relaxing. However, if you don't specify a masseuse, you'll likely get a new one, and their massage is terrible – very gentle, ineffective, and doesn't relieve your symptoms at all. You have to choose a good masseuse; don't choose the new ones, I'm telling you, you'll just be wasting your money without any relief.
