💬 What reviewers say
Very good small resort in a quite area in the heart of Bangkok , staff are friendly but there’s no elevator
The hotel is beautiful, I like the vintage, colonial style and the small garden area. I also like the fact that its not located at a very touristy area. There arent other hotels around, the restaurants and food stalls around are very local (both in feel and prices), if you like the true cultural thai experience rather than having the standard western bars and restaurants around. These are about a 15-20 walk at Samsen road. The rooms are clean, but a bit dated and would not exactly qualify as a 5 stars hotel as it claimed, less luxurious and more a 4 stars standard. I booked an executive room but it was quite small and does not even have a table and chair. Besides the room, the service is excellent, all staff are very friendly and attentive. Had a positive stay overall.
Spent a relaxing weekend here and it was exactly what I needed. 🤍 What I loved most was the atmosphere. The hotel has a charming vintage character that feels both elegant and cozy, surrounded by lush greenery and nature. It’s the kind of place where you naturally slow down, enjoy the moment, and forget about your busy schedule. The wine and beer buffet was such a pleasant surprise. Great drinks, delicious food served throughout the evening, and a lovely setting to sit back and enjoy the night. But the real highlight was the hospitality. The staff made us feel welcome from the very beginning, and the chef was so friendly and approachable. His food recommendations were spot on, and you could really feel the passion behind every dish. A beautiful hidden gem for anyone looking for a peaceful escape, good food, good drinks, and genuinely warm service. Looking forward to coming back again soon. ✨
a beautiful oasis in one of the most lovely neighbourhoods in old town Bangkok. located in a beautiful building (dates from 1870) with a lush garden and pool and all the necessities you desire. staff is very friendly and helpful. my room was in the back and it was so silent. slept like an angel. breakfast is good with western and thai options and they have a restaurant on site that serves lunch and diner so you won’t be hungry. there is also a spa but I sadly didn’t go there. recommend! will return.
The service here is truly exceptional. The staff are warm, welcoming, and always ready to offer helpful guidance, making me feel genuinely cared for from the moment I arrived. The hotel’s atmosphere is serene and lush, beautifully preserving the charm and elegance of a traditional heritage home. The Thai cuisine served at the hotel is outstanding—rich in flavor and thoughtfully prepared in every detail. I also had the opportunity to experience their massage service, which was incredibly relaxing and memorable. Overall, my stay exceeded expectations in every way. I would confidently give it a 10/10.
My all-time favourite hotel. Ok the rooms are simple and up some stairs, but the bed was huge, the pool was refreshing, the garden setting was glorious, the staff were great, pricing was excellent, and then the location... Omg the location - walk outside this peaceful oasis and you are in a fabulous part of Bangkok - endless interesting eating options, a temple or 3, not to mention a canal side night market on weekends. But not overly touristy - almost all of the people you will see are locals. I have now stayed here 4 times and already want to go back. I am missing this place already.
I stayed here from March 10th till 14th . Everything was so smooth from the Check in . I was escorted to my room by a lovely man , I don't know his name . He was so lovely , showed me everything in my room and told me what to do. The breakfast was really good with a mix of Thai and western food . You can also order eggs to your liking to your table . Delicious coffee and a great selection of juices . I loved the Roselle juice so much , it was my favorite . The location is so great for Grab Pick ups to go to Sukhumvit area. They make sure Grab comes to lobby and pick you up , then you are safe. Also close to things in the old bangkok as this is in Dusit area . It was really easy to get to Khao San road , Wat Pho , Grand Palace , Wat Arun , national museum and Rajadamnern Stadium . The bed was absolutely comfortable , nice cool AC and hot water . I will definitely come back to stay here Thank you
Absolutely top tier, professional massage center. I went in the day we arrived because I was unbelievably stiff from the 20 hour flight. After a 60 minute Royal Thai Massage, I left feeling like I hadn’t been on a plane at all. Not exaggerating. The next day after many miles of walking around the city and exploring temples, my legs and feet were sore, and I felt like the day was pretty much done there. But after a 90 minute Royal Thai massage with extra focus on feet, legs and lower back, with a ton of targeted stretching, I felt absolutely no soreness or tightness. Mina was my therapist both times and if you’re lucky enough to stay at The Raweekanlaya Bangkok Wellness Cuisine Resort, I highly, highly recommend her. She’s absolutely fantastic.
We loved so much this hotel. It's near everything and there is a little night market at 50 meters and also a 7-eleven at 2 minutes. The employees were nice and polite with us. The room was clean and beautiful and the beds are big and comfortable.
Had a wonderful stay at The Raweekanlaya Bangkok. The resort is a peaceful oasis in the heart of Bangkok, with beautiful gardens, comfortable room and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive.
