💬 What reviewers say
Ended the day with a 2hr aromatherapy massage. This place is a 5 minute walk from our place, fairly priced and have good reviews. The actual massage is so good. I've never been stretched this much. I swear I felt the masseuse stepping on me / being on all fours above me hahahaha. But the place is cramped and you'll literally be a curtain away from your neighbor client. I also don't think they wash the bed sheets often. 😅
I was having spa and oil massage and then the employee came in the room and used the shower. I had no privacy and it was very inappropriate knowing the customer still inside. This is where I found out that the shower has been used by both customers and employees. The hygiene also wasn’t good. Last thing, the masseuse has swore a lot. Respectfully I would say 100% I have never experienced anything like this before.
Araya Massage is a hidden gem! The masseuses are incredibly skilled and know exactly how to relieve tension. The atmosphere is serene and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. I highly recommend trying their traditional Thai massage .
Went to Araya massage, the sister shop behind this location (I can't find the exact place to review on Google maps, but it is behind this in a small ally way opposite Exotica Bar & Restaurant). Super professional and friendly staff. My masseuse was so nice and good. Will definitely visit again when I'm in town
It’s definitely 5-star massage in Asok Area. Very good price value I am so sad that I found this shop on the last stay of my trip. I will definitely visit again on my next trip. Highly recommend.❤️ There is another shop near the Breakfast Story which has a lower-price list.
Warning to tourists: Be very careful with your belongings at this massage parlour. Went to Araya 2 (opposite Vinary Hotel ) While I was asleep during a Thai body massage, approximately 10k was stolen from my wallet. AVOID this place!!! This is a genuine customer feedback. Currency notes equivalent to approximately 10k Baths were taken from stacks of cash in my wallet when i fell asleep during the massage. The masseur left the room for a few minutes after i woke up . There is no need for thuggish and hostile response by management. This reflects badly on the management’s priority on customers’ safety and wellbeing.
I got over 10 massages. This one was the worst. I went as soon as they opened and there was only 1 older lady in the shop. Inconsistent pressure applied. Pressure was really hard whenever she stood on me using her feet and elbows but anytime she used her hands I felt nothing. Kept asking me if i was okay and to relax but there was nothing relaxing about this massage. Also had itchy hands and arms. Not sure if I got bitten or it was an allergic reaction to the mat.
Bad experience. After body massage on 1st Feb night at, Araya 2 branch, we discovered money was lost from wallet. We went back twice to the branch to inform manager on 2nd Feb. Abt 12pm we went to branch, but manager not in. Then abt 3pm, we went back to the branch, spoke to the manager and informed him. The lady masseur denied taking the money. So, the money notes in 1000 and 500 notes (totalling abt 10k) in my partner's wallet just walked away during the massage? Araya founder - please investigate properly first before threatening your customers. Is this how you treat customers who write the truth about what happened to them in your branch premise? Don't you think you should investigate first on your staff properly? Don't you provide any lockers for customers to keep their valuables? You could have one dishonest masseur who is quietly stealing money from unwary customers and if we do not tell our experience, she may continue to steal quietly. Please checked with your manager of Araya 2 as we spoke to him. There were other staff around with your manager at that time. This lady masseur obviously denied taking the money although during the body massage, I noticed she abruptly left the massage bed for a short while when my partner was asleep. There was a curtain separating the two of us. I was very tempted to report this theft matter to the police after meeting your manager but my partner stopped me because we were in a hurry. So, if you are lodging a police report against LSO, I will proceed to lodge a police report against Araya too. Responding to Araya Massage (owner)'s reply: Dear owner, Your response is deeply disappointing and reflects a failure to treat customers with fairness, professionalism and basic respect. We did not make “idle threats” nor post a “scam” review. We shared our genuine experience of what occurred inside your massage premise on the night of 1 February at the Araya 2 branch (sometime between 10pm to midnight). To clarify the facts: 1. Some money was stolen during the 2-hour massage while the customer was sleeping. During the massage, the masseur left the room briefly for a few minutes. 2. The loss of money was only discovered after we had left the massage premise, by which time, the branch had already closed for the night. After leaving your branch, we returned directly to our residence and did not go anywhere else. For this reason, we are confident that the loss of money occurred during the massage session. 3. The next day, we returned to your branch twice on 2 February to report the incident — first around 12:00 pm when the manager was not present, and again around 3:00 pm, when we spoke to the manager directly in the presence of other staff. We are not claiming to have video evidence. However, you also do not have evidence that the money was not taken during the massage. Instead of investigating the situation fairly, your response: • Assumes your staff member is “completely trustworthy” without objective inquiry • Dismisses the customer’s experience • Threatens legal action rather than seeking the truth This is not how a responsible business should handle a serious complaint. You also did not address an important issue: Why are there no lockers or secure storage for customer valuables? Your business model exposes customers to unnecessary risk. We stand by our account. We are not accusing your entire company — we are reporting what happened to us at your Araya 2 branch. If even one staff member is dishonest, silence only allows it to continue. We expect this matter to be handled fairly, professionally, and without intimidation.
I got my first Thai massage here. I tried several places during my stay in Bangkok, but here was the best. The service they provide is extreamly good. Also therapists are young, kind and very friendly. They perform the massages with care and attention to detail. This is a perfect massage parlor in a central location that's definitely worth a visit.
Came here for two consecutive days. First day had a facial and oil massage, second day had a 90 minute foot massage. Staff were attentive and professional. Loved the location as it was walking distance from our hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 20. Place was clean, nice little decor and appreciated the free wifi. Open late till midnight which I appreciate.
