Beyond Massage - Sukhumvit 36

Honestly, after 13 years of traveling around Southeast Asia and actually living in Thailand, I can say this without exaggeration: Beyond Massage – Sukhumvit 36 is insanely good value for money! Easily one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The place is located inside a Muay Thai gym, which already tells you a lot, these ladies clearly know how to work on real battle-tested bodies. You’re not getting a soft tourist massage here. My therapist, Aoey was absolutely top-tier. Super professional, laser-focused and somehow managed to find muscles I didn’t even know existed. She worked with incredible precision and hit acupuncture points so accurately it sent electric shocks through my whole body (in the best way possible). After the session, I literally felt like I was walking on clouds. All the tension was gone, muscles relaxed and body reset. A true hidden gem and no joke: my new favorite massage spot in Bangkok. Highly recommended 🔥💆‍♂️

The staff were nice and welcoming, which made me hopeful for a relaxing experience. I booked a 90-minute oil massage expecting proper technique and relief, but unfortunately the massage itself was very disappointing. The therapist seemed to lack basic massage techniques and relied heavily on using her elbow for most of the session. At times it honestly felt like sitting in a massage chair — the only difference was the addition of oil. What concerned me the most was that she repeatedly pressed directly on my spine with her elbow. Think about that for a moment — the spine. Instead of feeling relaxed, I spent much of the massage feeling uncomfortable and tense. A 90-minute oil massage should leave you refreshed, but this experience was the complete opposite. Overall, it was totally disappointing.

I had Thai massage with balm after having my nails done in the same salon. Relaxing and effective massage I ever had in a while.

Fantastic massage! This is my second time coming here this week. Last time I did a 60 minute deep tissue massage...unbelievable. This time I did a 30 minute neck and shoulder massage. Also unbelievable. Great prices, fantastic workers. I will be back!

I had a really great experience. Ae was really sweet and helped me feel amazing after Muay Thai class! Relaxing! But also strong and made me stretch better - haha!

Excellent massage center, the therapist named "night" was very kind and gentle, an expert in pressure point, feel very relaxed. Highly recommended.

Bad quality massage — the worst I’ve had in Thailand. On top of that, the masseuse tried to charge more than the price listed. Completely unprofessional. I honestly don’t understand how this place is still in business.

It is relaxing despite Muay Thai background noise. It’s a unique massage experience! :) Good service.

If I could give 0 stars, i would. We booked for 130, reached at 115 and at 140 the doors were still locked and the neighbouring muay thai shop said that they were on break. Wasted 1hr of our last day in bangkok walking here, waiting then leaving to another massage parlour
