A massage therapist is an artist, and their skills vary from person to person.

I have traveled to Thailand for over 30 years and have had hundreds of massages, but please do not go there. My son got a foot massage and I got a Thai massage. The second floor was incredibly dirty, and the pillows smelled terrible; they didn't even provide extra towels (I didn't intend to use a pillow, but during the back massage, they went out of their way to position it right in the middle of my face, forcing me to smell every kind of odor imaginable... it smelled like old lipstick and urine). No matter how many times I told them to, the young male staff member refused to reduce the pressure and kneaded it so hard, like he was kneading dough, that I felt like I was being turned into hand-pulled noodles... It was the first time I’ve ever had to take painkillers because my whole body ached so much after a massage, and my son said the young female staff member he had treated him with absolutely no sincerity. There were no other customers, yet the older staff were just soliciting outside, and I felt like I was being used as practice targets for the younger staff despite paying my own money.

Despite staying close, I never tried this parlour until last week. I was having a headache so was thinking to give it a try with just Head and shoulder massage, I thought that would not go too far , and I was proven wrong. I left the massage half way, the masseuse was blatantly using her phone in the massage. It’s the first and my last time to visit this parlour.

The massage was so painful I almost cried. Every move was inflamed, and they were squeezing the muscle even where there were no strong tendons. I asked them to massage gently twice, but they wouldn't. I don't know if the masseuse couldn't understand Thai or was just intentionally ignoring me. I took my husband, and he also said it hurt. I could even overhear two Chinese people next to me saying how painful the massage was, and they were constantly groaning in pain. Masseuses should listen to their clients, not just massage without thinking. From just a sore neck, now my whole body is aching. I guess the shop only caters to walk-in customers.

The massage itself was good, I won’t deny that. However, the experience was completely ruined by the unprofessional behavior of the masseuse. Throughout the entire session, she was constantly giggling and chatting with her colleague, clearly talking about me or the other client. I don’t speak Thai, so I couldn’t understand the words, but the behavior was obvious and very uncomfortable. I went there to relax, not to feel observed and judged. I asked her several times to stop and focus on the massage, but it seemed like she didn’t really understand or simply ignored me. Instead of relaxation, I left feeling stressed and irritated. Very unprofessional attitude. I will not be coming back.

This massage parlor offers great value for money, and the technicians are highly skilled.

The owner was very friendly and even gave us little kids a massage. Afterwards, they gave us local fruit as a gift; we were really grateful.
