Sands Sauna Beach Club Pattaya

Beautiful environment, close to the beach 🏝️ The staff are very welcoming! This is my favorite sauna club in Pattaya! The food is delicious, I love it, and the prices are reasonable! My husband and I come twice a week.

I don't understand how the restaurant plans its closing time. Normally, if the restaurant closes at 9 PM, shouldn't they inform customers 30 minutes before closing? A staff member came to our table and told us the restaurant was closing, so we immediately got up. We didn't check the time, so we went to the restroom with my friend to take care of personal matters. The first time, a staff member came to ask for payment, which we did. The second time, an older woman came and asked us to hurry because the restaurant was closing. We told her our friend was showering. The third time, the same woman came again and told us to hurry because it was going to rain and she lived far away. We said okay, our friend was changing clothes and would be finished soon. And then she left the women's changing room door open!! The fourth time, the same woman came back a few minutes after the third time. Seeing us sitting and playing on our phones, she made a displeased face and walked out saying, "Today is my worst day ever!!" Then she gossiped about us, saying she locked the door and told us to climb over the wall and leave, and then she laughed?? The fifth time, the same woman came back again. Our friend had been changing clothes for less than 5 minutes. The aunt had a displeased look on her face. My friend opened the bathroom door and saw her, and was shocked. She then said, "Auntie, could you please leave first? I need to put on my pants and I'll leave quickly." First and last time experiencing this. #Terrible!!!

The woman who closes the shop is very rude. She came into the changing room several times, leaving the door open even though customers were changing and showering inside. She was gossiping and using vulgar language, and stood there rushing me while I was putting on my pants. If I didn't ask her to leave, she would just stand there. There were men sitting outside the door as well. Where is the appropriateness and safety for customers? (The front-of-house staff provided good service as usual.)

Correction, there was a misunderstanding. The food was delicious!

I rarely leave comments on google maps but this time I couldn’t help but do it. I’ve had experience with few spots alike this one and I have a basis for comparison. 1) The spot is facing a road, so you can hear all the noise from it, including people, bikes and cars. 2) as a consequence of the 1st point, they have pigeons. Thats right, pigeons. They fly around, walk on towels, bags and even food (see the photo). Before I took this picture this little guy stepped both of his little feet into the plate and ate some watermelon. The staff came and scared him away but as you can see it came back for another round of watermelon. No one would argue that it’s simply disgusting. I haven’t seen this anywhere. 3) The hot pool (40 degrees) was just not clean. Thought I arrived in the morning. 4) They accept children. I wouldn’t say it’s a disadvantage, but something to take into account. For me sauna spot for relaxing in peace. When I was there someone brought a child who was crying a lot. Again, family saunas is a good thing in general. But if you’re into quiet spots - this is not the one. 5) People smoke here. Felt tobacco and weed smell a lot. Anything good? 1) I enjoyed hammam. It’s pretty intense. Good for someone like me who does not do saunas. 2) welcome water with ice and watermelons (unless eaten by the birds later). 3) spots for sunbathing as wells as spots in the shade. Good variety of places to sit or lay down. 4) they give 2 towels (small and big). In conclusion, this place didn’t convince me to pay extra to hang there instead of my hammam and ice bath I have in my condo. The pigeons is the reason this comment is here. I hope my experience is different form people who love it there. But I personally won’t come back.
